I met Arin about 10 years ago through a close mutual friend, Jennie. She's always been an energetic, trusting and open person, and someone that can put a smile on anyone's face. I remember when I first met Amir, a few years back, soon after they got together. He was so friendly and caring, with a never ending smile. Jennie filled me in on details of Arin's new man and how good he was to her. It made my heart happy. So I when I heard they wanted me to be a part of their big day, I couldn't have been more excited and honored to oblige.
Their celebration took place in Point Loma on a warm, sunny Saturday, over looking the San Diego Bay. And like most everyone at the celebration, I've never seen her happier. As for Amir, I've only known him for the years that he's been with Arin. But I don't think it's even possible for him to be any happier. I think he'd just explode into rays of sunshine and confetti. Arin and Amir together just radiate pure joy when they are around each other. They have so much compassion and care for one another, it's beautiful to witness.
